CITIZENS OF BELGRADE - DO CHECK THROUGH THE INTERNET IF YOU ARE REGISTERED IN THE VOTERS’ LISTS!All voters registered in Belgrade may check if they are registered in the voters’ lists by accessing the Internet site: www.beogradsg.org.yu. Very easily, by entering the citizens’ personal number, each voter may obtain their personal data in a few seconds. If they are the registered voters, they may also obtain the information on their electoral check-point. At the moment, this procedure applies only to voters from the territory of Belgrade. Please, distribute this information, with the help of your members, activists and volunteers, to other citizens of Belgrade. This will contribute to the better and more efficient realization of our main goals – control of the voters’ lists. We propose to all Belgrade NGOs, which have such technical possibilities, to use their computers in order to make this information available to other citizens. If possible, inform the citizens of Belgrade, through written information attached at the entrance of your working place, that they are able to check the status of the voters’ lists by the Internet. Furthermore, we suggest that you check if other Serbian cities are able to open similar sites on the Internet, so that the voters’ lists could be verified on time. The Civic Library Europe visits the villages in Bor The Civic Library Europe from Bor, in cooperation with the Bor Daily and some democratic parties, visited, during this month (Aug. 11th and 21st), two villages in the Bor municipality - Gornjane and Sarbanovac (the socialists won the elections in these villages). In conversations with the activists, who distributed the leaflets, Bor Daily and similar material, the villagers conveyed their own experiences with the current authorities. Until the elections, the Civic Library Europe will visit ten villages. |
