aimed at providing durable solutions for the refugees and enhancement of living conditions for internally displaced persons (IDPs), income generation support for vulnerable refugees and IDPs and some domicile poor. The Delegation of the European Commission to the Republic of Serbia is organising an information session on this call for proposals on Wednesday 23 July 2008 from 11:00 to 12:30 at the Media Centre (Sava Centre, Milentija Popovica 8, Belgrade) The call for proposals which was published on 18 July 2008 sets out the following priority areas: ?- Support integration of refugees through the development of accommodation solutions, employment and income generation activities ?- Support IDPs in moving from collective centres to protected living environment ?- Support IDPs to develop sustainable livelihoods through income generation activities ?- Support for especially vulnerable qualifying individuals among the resident domicile community The deadline for submission of proposals is 21 October 2008. The financial assistance will be provided from the National Programme for Serbia under the European Commission's Instrument of Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA).
