FORUM OF YUGOSLAV NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS organizes the public discussion on Draft Law of Radio Transmission. A working group that is preparing this law planned to include the third sector in this discussion as well. According to this draft law, NGOs dealing with human rights, information and the media should take an active role in its application. Beside the third sector representatives, the members of the working group will also take active part in the discussion. GORDANA SUSA, PRESIDENT OF THE INDEPENDENT ASSOCIATION OF JOURNALISTS OF SERBIA, accused the Democratic Party and Democratic Party of Serbia of influencing the process of nominating editors in the state radio television (RTS), thus violating the DOS pre-election premises. Susa has announced that she will press charges against RTS if the application process for the editor-in-chief of the Informative program, she applied for, would be canceled. She said that she had already informed the Working Group for the Protection of Journalists, consisting of the media and government representatives, as well as that she had hired a lawyer from the Yugoslav Lawyers Committee for Human Rights in order to "protect her rights and discover the reasons for counseling the application process". POLICE IN SERBIA CONTINUE WITH TORTURE OF MINORS AND CHILDREN , warns the Humanitarian Law Center. This organization states that 11 year old Roma boy had been brought to the Belgrade police station where he was tortured. The HLC warns that police is obliged to treat minors with special caution due to their age and is prohibited to use physical force. (HLC)
REFERRING TO THE DROPPING OF THE CRIMINAL CHARGES against the editor of the anti Semite falsification "Protokol sionskih mudraca", the Women in Black warns that legalization of this pamphlet enables unpunished spiritual contamination of our environment. (Women in Black, Belgrade)
THE CONTRACT ON PROVIDING FUNDS FOR BUILDING THE ROOF ON THE MATERNITY HOSPITAL IN BOR , worth one hundred thousand DM, was signed by USAID/OTI and the Medical Center in Bor. The aid is provided through Bor non-governmental organizations Committee for Human Rights and Committee for Women Human Rights "JUCA". (Beta)
NGO "LINGVA" FROM KRALJEVO launched the program of rebuilding four collective centers in Kraljevo municipality with around 200 refugees and displaced persons. The program is sponsored by IOCC. (CRNPSCS)
CENTER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS from Podgorica requested that non-governmental sector should be involved in preparing the set of anticorruption laws in Montenegro. In declaration, addressed to Montenegro authorities, the Center demands that a working group, consisting of representatives of the state, government and NGOs, prepare the set of anticorruption laws till the end of this year. REPRESENTATIVES OF THE COMMITTEE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS FROM LESKOVAC AND ABOUT 30 CITIZENS gathered in front of the jewelry store of Stefan Kasinari in Leskovac waiting for the court official to enforce the court decision on moving out his store. Instead of that, the Municipal court's decision on suspension of proceedings regarding the case arrived. Dobrosav Nesic, president of the Committee, said that this case caused great damage to the city of Leskovac. (Beta)
TWO DAY MULTI-MEDIAL MANIFESTATION "MUV" started on 27 July 2001 in Zrenjanin by a rock concert. Center for Presentation of Youth, the organizer of this concert, announced the organization of theatre plays and art exhibitions as well. The project is supported by the Republic Ministry for Culture and Stability Pact of Southeastern Europe while more detailed information can be found at: www.cpm.org.yu. (Beta)

INSTEAD OF A RESPONSE TO THE PROPOSED CHANGES OF THE LAW ON ARMY OF YUGOSLAVIA that Yugoslav Lawyers Committee for Human Rights (YUCOM) submitted to the Federal Parliament back on 15 May, this organization, on 2 July, received a memo from the Yugoslav Army Headquarters marked as "Military top secret - internal". "The letter, addressed to the YUCOM president Biljana Kovacevic - Vuco, is an unacceptable warning with elements of threat which is directly opposed to the legal citizens' initiative as an element of involving citizens in democratic processes", stated this organization. DURING HIS VISIT TO NOVI PAZAR , ambassador Stefano Sanino, the chief of mission of OSCE in the FRY, and his colleagues met with NGO representatives from "Urban-In" and "Damad" on 24 July. These two organizations informed ambassador Sanino of their activities, as well as of the general situation in Novi Pazar and Sandzak. (Information service, Urban-In)
FIVE YEAR PROGRAM "REVITALIZATION OF COMMUNITY THROUGH DEMOCRATIC ACTIONS" , aimed at supporting democracy, renewal of community and infrastructure, economic development and environmental protection in the FRY, was presented in Valjevo city hall. The program will be realized by International Relief and Development (IRD) that will, in cooperation with the local NGOs and other organizations and citizens, conduct the training of leaders, technical assistants and associates. Beside IRD, the following organizations will also take part in the project: UMCOR, Camp, Dresser, McKee. This program is supported by USAID. (Committee for Human Rights Valjevo)
HUMAN TRAFFICKING BECOMES ONE OF THE MOST PROFITABLE AND WIDELY SPREAD WORK of the organized crime networks in the Balkans. This was stated at the promotion of the book "Human Smuggling", edited by the Center for Advanced Legal Studies from Belgrade and Center for Legal Issues from Bucharest. (Beta)
THE ROUNDTABLE "TRIALS FOR THE WAR CRIMES IN KOSOVO" , supported by Friedrich Ebert Foundation and organized by the Humanitarian Law Center (HLC), will be held in the hotel Palas, Belgrade on 30 July. (HLC)

THE FIRST MEETING OF THE WORKING GROUP FOR DRAFTING NEW LAW ON NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS was held in Belgrade, on 24 July. The group was established within the Ministry of Justice and Local Self-Government of Republic of Serbia. The group members, consisting of representatives of the Ministry, few non-governmental organizations and other legal experts, concluded that the Draft Law on NGOs would we presented to the public shortly.
DOBROSAV NESIC, PRESIDENT OF THE COMMITTEE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS IN LESKOVAC , has said that this organization receives daily telephone threats. "We receive threats because we, as they say, protect Albanians", said Nesic. This organization recently protested because of throwing out Stefan Kacinari, Albanian, from his store in downtown Leskovac. (Beta)
THE MEETING ON PARTICIPATION OF NGOS IN EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION THROUGH INTERNET , organized by the Center for the Development of Non-Profit Sector of central Serbia, is held in Kraljevo on 24 July. Participants at the meeting were representatives of world Internet portal One World and Institute for an Open Society from Budapest that were conducting the research on this topic, as well as the representatives of seven NGOs from Kragujevac, Krusevac and Kraljevo. HELSINKI COMMITTEE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS IN SERBIA brought criminal charges against publisher of the book "For the Balkan Judaism" because of its anti-Semite content. The Committee stresses that this publication inflames religious and national hate, conflict and intolerance, which are the elements of criminal act according to the Criminal Law of the FRY. (Beta)

THE SECOND REGIONAL DONOR CONFERENCE will be held on 25-26 October 2001 in Bucharest, in organization of the Stability Pact of Southeastern Europe, announce the office of the Yugoslav National Coordinator of Stability pact. The Yugoslav office invited all interested institutions and organizations to send their projects until September 1, 2001. The projects should deal with human rights and minorities, education, public administration, youth, refugees and displaced persons, media and women's rights. Moreover, the projects should be directed toward judiciary reform, police and army reform, struggle against corruption, organized crime and illegal migrations. The projects should include the basic goals, activities on the project, detailed budget and expected results.
THE SURVEY OF THE CENTER FOR POLITICAL RESEARCH AND PUBLIC OPINION shows that the number of people who opt for preservation of the Yugoslav Federation decreases while the number of those who are for two independent states increases. The results show that 59 percent of people opt for federation (8 percent less than in March of this year) while the number of those who opt for two independent states increased from 18 to 29 percent. The survey is conducted from 6-9 July on 1.340 interviews.
WORKING GROUP FOR THE PROTECTION OF JOURNALISTS , consisting of representatives of the Independent Society of Journalists of Serbia, republic and state government, appeal to local authorities in Serbia to ensure better protection of journalists. The reason for this appeal is the pressure recently put on Predrag Radovic, "Blic" correspondent from Valjevo. (Beta)
REPRESENTATIVES OF THE WORLD BANK informed representatives of few domestic and international non-governmental organizations on the results of the donor conference. At the meeting held on 20 July in Belgrade, the World Bank representatives stated that the approved funds would be spent in three ways: through donations coming from the donor country, through donations that would go via our government, and finally by donors' implementing partners ranging from international institutions to local NGOs. The World Bank representatives believe that non-governmental organizations could particularly be helpful in the field of trainings, technical support, micro crediting, etc. (Vladan Jeremic, Timok klub)

CENTER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF NON-PROFIT SECTOR became the member of CIVICUS in July 2001. CIVICUS (World Alliance for Citizen Participation) is an international organization dedicated to strengthening citizen action and civil society throughout the world and include 540 member organizations in 100 countries. CIVICUS members include non-governmental organizations, associations, private foundations, corporations, as well as other civil society organizations and individuals. Together with its members, CIVICUS work to convene regional and global meetings to discuss critical issues and to develop mutual understanding and principles, as well as to advocate for the infrastructural development of non-profit and non-governmental organizations worldwide. Beside this, CIVICUS serve as an information center, bringing people and information together to promote the growth of non-governmental organizations and civil society worldwide.
BECOUSE SHE PUBLISHED ARTICLES on throwing out Stefan Kasinari, the only Albanian jeweler, from the store in downtown Leskovac, Milica Ivanovic, correspondent of the daily "Blic" and news agency Beta from Leskovac, received anonymous telephone threats.
AT THE MEETING OF VALJEVO NGOS WITH THE REPRESENTATIVES OF UZICE NGOS AND THE UZICE MUNICIPALITY it was concluded that there was a need for establishment of partnership between state bodies and the third sector, as well as for joint approach of local NGOs towards local authorities. The meeting was held in Valjevo, on 19 July. On that occasion, Ruzica Dabic, coordinator of the Center for the Development of Non-Profit Sector of Western Serbia, presented this organization's mission and stressed that this was the first meeting of this kind that would be realized throughout western Serbia. The goal of these meetings is to strengthen the relationship between the third sector organizations. (Committee for Human Rights in Valjevo)
SEFKO ALOMEROVIC, PRESIDENT OF HELSINKI COMMITTEE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS IN SANDZAK , said that existence of mass graves in Suva reka in Kosovo confirms some earlier suspicions that there were several collection points and one command center that coordinated the elimination of traces on crimes committed on Serbs. CENTER FOR ANTIWAR ACTION (CAA) IN CACAK received an anonymous phone call and was threaten with bombing attack on 19 July. Despite frequent treats regarding the Center's premises and its employees, until now the police did not react. (Svetlana Eric, CAA Director)
COMMITTEE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS IN LESKOVAC strongly protested against the decision by which Stefan Kacinari, the only Albanian jeweler in southern Serbia, was thrown out from the store in downtown Leskovac. The Committee stated that "everything points at discriminatory character of court's decision and nationalistic mentality of court's employees". (Beta)
YUGOSLAW LAWYERS COMMITTEE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS demanded the competent Yugoslav and Serbian bodies to do everything that is in their power in order to prevent the consequences of possible national discrimination in the case of Leskovac jeweler Stefan Kacinari. (Beta)
MODEL LAW ON STATE ADMINISTRATION , which main concept is to put the apparatus of government in service of citizens and general well-being, is presented by "Palgo center", the non-governmental, expert organization. The Model Law includes some novelties, such as establishment of the expert committee that would deal with problems of citizens. (Beta)
WITHIN ITS CAMPAIGN "RESISTING TO CRIME" , "Otpor" organized action in which Belgrade cafés were closed for an hour, marking thus the memory on recently killed Boban Vukojevic, the owner of one Belgrade café. (Beta)
HUMANITARIAN LAW CENTER appeals for help for eight Roma families thrown out from their homes by Cukarica municipal authorities. More than thirty people, among them ten children under ten, one five months baby and one blind child, were moved out on 14 July, with brutal assistance of police and private security. A DECISION TO POSTPONE THE INTRODUCTION OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION INTO THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS until the public discussion is held on its possible consequences, proposed Belgrade Center for the Human Rights to the Government of Serbia. This organization reminds the government to obey the international commitments on Children's Right Convention: each child has its own rights on the freedom of thought, religion and consciences.
DURING THE INTRODUCTION OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION INTO THE SCHOOLS there is a need to pay attention on particularity of Serbia, and on the experiences of other European countries, stated the law professor Sima Avramov, within two-day conference on the introduction of the religion education organized by Ljuba Davidovic fund. PARTICIPANTS OF THE ROUND TABLE "RELIGIOUS EDUCATION OR DEMOCRACY" CONDEMNED the government decision on the introduction of the religious education into the public schools. Milanka Saponja Hadzic, the representative of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights, organizer of the round table, stated that it is unacceptable for state and the church to introduce this programme without prior experts' consultation. Biljana Kovacevic Vuco, the president of the Yugoslav Lawyers Committee stated that this decision is unconstitutional and illegal. (Beta)
DECISION TO EXTRADITE SLOBODAN MILOSEVIC to the Hague Tribunal, was considered justified by two third of the citizens of Serbia, and four fifth considered that he was rightfully condemned - show the research of the Strategic Marketing agency, conducted on a poll of 2000 participants in the period of 3rd until 9th July in 73 municipalities of Serbia without Kosovo. THERE IS 1 200 NON GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS IN MONTENEGRO stated the Center for the development of non - governmental organizations from Podogorica. The results of the "Damar" agency research show that more than 43% of the Montenegrin citizens believe that the NGOs are good opportunity for the self-organizing of the citizens and for the resolving of important questions. The NGO work is mostly connected to the human rights protection and fight against corruption. (Beta)
ECHO AND CARE INTERNATIONAL on Friday 20th July, will give toys as a gift to Vera Radivojevic, the House of neglected children from Bela Crkva. This humanitarian action represents the realization of the project that included 85 specialized institutions in Serbia; total value of to date distributed food, hygienic articles and reconstruction of objects is 2 500 000 euros. AN AD FOR TWO NEW LOCAL PARTNERS for the implementation of pre school programme within Budjenja programme has been announced by the educational tem of CRS /in Yugoslavia. The main goal of this program is to provide and enable marginalized and impoverished people the access to quality pre school programs aiming at development of children's possibilities and strengthening civic society through an active participation of the children and parents in the programme's development. The following criteria have a preference: minimum two years of experience with the educational program (the advantage is for the pre school programmes, minimum of 5 active NGOs members that are involved in the activities at least 60 to 100 % of the working time; already existing cooperation with a local community and local community need for such kind of programme. SATISFACTION FOR THE RATIFICATION OF THE ROMA STATUTE of international criminal court by FRY has provoked satisfaction at the Belgrade Center for the Human Rights. This demonstrates importance of the creation of stable international body where the individual responsible for serious international crimes can be put on trial.
PROJECT FOR HELPING ROMA PEOPLE DISPLACED FROM KOSOVO , located in the refugees' center "Stari Aerodrom" in Kraljevo has initiated the non -governmental organization Lingva preparing the program for hen farming. WITHIN THE PROJECT OF WOMEN MEDIA GROUP THE COMPETITION FOR NEW PARTICIPANTS IS LAUNCHED by the University of Arts from Belgrade together with non - governmental organization "Safe Women's Houses", project is supported by Catholic Relief Service and it consists from media workshops intended for unemployed highly educated women. The criteria for eligibility are: high education (specialization in humanities), unemployment or the income less than 1000 dinar per capita. MAJORITY OF CITIZENS IN SERBIA, 67% SUPPORTS THE INTRODUCTION OF THE RELIGIOUS EDUCATION into the schools and 20% is against it according to the market research conducted by "Partner" agency on the survey of the 1000 citizens. (Beta)

ON SATURDAY IN LESKOVAC THE POLICE APPREHENDED SRDJAN KNEZEVIC , coordinator of the network for antimilitarism of the non -governmental organization Women in Black from Belgrade. After being arrested by the police in Leskovac, Mr. Knezevic has been sent to the police in Nis where after the interrogation and only after the intervention of his solicitor has been released. Mr. Knezevic has been already apprehended four times by the police because of the old wanted circular that already has been rejected. (CRNPSJS, Leskovac)
PROJECT ON THE DISTRIBUTION THE SCHOOL KITS is realized successfully in the period of July 1 to July 13 by the non -governmental organization Lingva, intended for the most deprived children in seven elementary schools in Kraljevo. Within the same project the hygienic kits were distributed to the displaced persons and refugees located in the collective centers on the territory of the Kraljevo municipality. The donator of the promotion was UMCOR. (CRNPS of the central Serbia)
THE PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT "THE ART OF RIVER" in the realization of Via Center will be held from 15th to 16th July in the Museum of Ethnography. The programme includes the photography exhibition, video production of the documentary about the project "Art of the river" and the auction of the artifacts related to the project implementation. All gathered funds from this auction would be distributed to the children with special needs. (Via center)
COMMITTEE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS FROM LESKOVAC by the help of the Mercy Corps has provided the funds of 80 000 DM for enlargement and revitalization of the drainage and water supply system in community Marko Crni inhabited predominantly by the Roma population. The Committee also, via Danish women organization Women for Peace, has provided the aid of 155 000 Danish crown for the Leskovac Medicine Center. The aid contains the medicine, medical equipment and equipment for hospital staff. Since the beginning of the year, the Committee has provided the hospital with the medicine and equipment in the amount of more than 100 000 DM. (Dobrosav Nesic)

MAJORITY OF THE CITIZENS OF SERBIA DOES NOT SUPPORT THE EXTRADITION OF THE SLOBODAN MILOSEVIC TO THE HAGUE TRIBUNAL , the results of the pool conducted by the weekly NIN that included 200 telephone subscribers all around Serbia. Aalthough they do accept his responsibility for the war crimes, 56,5% of the participants were against and 36,5 % supported the extradition, the positive answer to the question related to Milosevic responsibility for war crimes all over ex Yugoslavia or Kosovo gave 57,5 % and the negative gave 28,5% of participants. THOUSANDS OF POST CARDS AND LETTERS WILL BE SENT TO THE ADDRESS OF THE SERBIAN PARLIAMENT , to Dragan Marsicanin, and to the DOS leaders by the Otpor movement from Krusevac. THE JOURNALIST OF DAILY "BLIC" FROM VALJEVO, PREDRAG RADOJEVIC WAS APPREHENDED by the police. The Association of the Independent Journalists (NUNS) protested against stated that Mr. Radojevic has published a number of articles related to the mafia in this town in previous period. The police demanded from Radojevic to present "all the particularity of his work and to discover the sources of his information but at the same time not to inform anybody on the talks in the police". WOMEN NON - GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS IN NIS HAS PROTESTED against the advertising for the sun protection "Sun Mix". The organizations such as "Center for Girls, Women space, Women research centre for the education and communication and SOS Phone for the children and women victims of violence, criticized the marketing complaining that only girls in tanga bikini are presented on this billboard and it seems that the man, not being on the publicity are immune to the UV rays". IN NOVI PAZAR THE FIRST "TOYS LIBRARY" IS OPENED thanks to the UNICEF and the British humanitarian organization Save the Children. Dragana Sretenov, programm consultant in Save the Children from Belgrade, has stated that the library was the first joint project of these two organizations. She also stated that until the end of the year in Serbia will be realized more than ten of these projects. (Beta)
THE MOVEMENT OTPOR FROM SABAC STATED THAT DID NOT ORGANIZED THE ENTRANCE INTO THE SPS (Socialistic Party of Serbia) premises, but it does support this action and also it does not mean that the activities from Otpor were not engaged in this action. More than hundred citizens of Sabac have left peacefully the premises of the local SPS; during the action they occupied these premises with the idea to call citizens attention to non resolved status of the ex Communist party properties. ORGANIZING PROTEST IN THE CENTER OF THE BELGRADE, THE PUBLIC DISCUSSION AND THE PROJECTION OF THE FILM "THE SCREAM FROM THE GRAVE" - is marked the sixth anniversary from the massacre in Srebrenica organized by Women in Black, and the Center for the Cultural Decontamination. The historian Latinka Perovic has stated that the slaughter in the Srebrenica, 11 July 1995, is the worst crime that happened in Europe after the Second World War. 7000 men were killed at the spot. 76.4% OF CITIZENS OF SERBIA BELIEVE THAT HOMOSEXUALS ARE SICK PEOPLE , while 12.5 state that they are normal, as indicated by the poll of the agency "Factor Plus", on the sample of 1500 respondents. The majority of respondents (54.3%) believe that homosexuals need medical treatment, 14.5% would forbid them, while 10.2% would isolate them, whereas only 12.9% think that they should be treated as other normal persons. Opening of this office is a result of cooperation of the Center for the Development of Non-Profit Sector in Belgrade and the civic library Lingua from Kraljevo. The seventh in a series of regional offices of the CDNPS was established with the goal of helping the construction and renewal of the non-profit sector in 17 municipalities of Central Serbia, as well as to prompt the development of autonomous civic initiatives and civil society. THE POLICE IN BOR has been requested to launch an investigation in reaction to an article in the weekly "Vreme", claiming that the corpses from Kosovo were transported in trucks to the entrance of the Bor Forge and picked up by the police. This request has been made by the "Committee for Human Rights" (OLJP) and "Committee for Women's Human Rights" (JUCA).
THE ATTACK ON THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE "GAY PRIDE PARADE" on Saturday, June 30, was condemned by the representatives of NGOs, Yugoslav and Serbian ministries of Justice, Culture and Education, and the Writers' Forum. At the press conference, the demanded from the state authorities to react to this event. On this occasion, the Assistant of the Federal Minister of Justice, Tamara Orlandic, said that this ministry launched a project of drafting the Law against Discrimination. THE BELGRADE CENTER FOR HUMAN RIGHTS is pleased because the Federal Parliament adopted, on June 22, 2001, an act on the ratification of the First and Second Optional Protocol along with the International Pact on Civic and Political Rights (PGP). Apart from PGP (1966), the First Optional Protocol empowers individuals to complain at the Committee for Human Rights for violation of rights guaranteed by the Pact on behalf of the state under contract. The Second Optional Protocol demands from the state not to execute a death penalty and undertake measures to remove this sanction from its laws.
THE HUMANITARIAN LAW CENTER submitted, on July 5, 2001, the criminal charges to the County DA office in Belgrade against the vice-president of the Socialist Party of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, for stirring up the national hatred and intolerance. On July 2, at the rally organized by the SPS and SRS, Dacic requested that "Serbia run Serbian politics, and not to be led by one Jozef Kasa and Rasim Ljajic". The statement of the vice-president of the SPS may cause disturbance and discomfort among the members of these ethnic communities and entire community, especially if we bear in mind that the supporters of the SPS and SRS at these rallies have already beaten a dozen of citizens, states the Humanitarian Law Center.

THE REGIONAL CENTER FOPR THE DEVELOPMENT OF NON-PROFIT SECTOR OF WESTERN SERBIA HAS BEEN OPENED IN UZICE on Tuesday evening. The aim of establishing a regional office in Uzice is to provide assistance, development and quality work of non-governmental and voluntary organizations in 21 municipalities of Western Serbia. This regional center was opened by Zarko Paunovic, director of the Belgrade Center for the Development of Non-Profit Sector, while the guests at the ceremony were the vice-president of the Serbian Assembly, Natasa Micic, federal representative and vice-president of the Civil Alliance of Serbia, Miroslav Filipovic and president of the municipal government of Uzice, Slavko Lukic. The representatives of the federal, republic and local authorities emphasized, on this occasion, the importance of the civil sector as "partner of the authorities".

This organization has emphasized its concern for the violent and intolerant attitude of part of our society towards the members of sexual minorities. It is also worried about the fact that the police did not fulfill its obligation to protect the groups that use their right to free assembly. (Belgrade Center for Human Rights)
VIOLENCE IN THE STREETS OF BELGRADE , on the occasion of the assembly of homosexuals on Saturday, June 30, and an inadequate reaction of the police to violence was condemned by the Center for Anti-War Action. (Beta)
THE MUNICIPAL COURT IN CACAK has ordered the State of Serbia to pay 60,000 dinars to Jelena Radovanovic, an activist of Otpor, for the violation of her reputation, honor, freedom and personal right, made by the police by its illegal conduct. The court has determined that on August 29, 2000 the police arrested this activist of Otpor just because they found the badges of this movement and stickers "It is Time" and "I Vote to Stir It Up" during their search. The police inspectors interrogated Jelena Radovanovic about "Otpor" and her political orientation. The court has judged that such a conduct was illegal and that her reputation, honor, freedom and personal right were, thus, violated. (Humanitarian Law Center)
